Quotes and orders

Quotes are based on the specifications you provide and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. An order is confirmed once you approve the quote and, where required, provide payment or a deposit. Because our products are custom-manufactured, an order becomes binding once production artwork is approved.

Artwork and approvals

You are responsible for the accuracy of artwork, text, dielines and specifications you supply or approve. We provide digital proofs and, where requested, physical samples. Production begins only after you approve the final proof. Box Bettter is not liable for errors present in approved artwork, including spelling, colour breaks or dimensions.

Pricing and payment

Prices are quoted in the currency stated on your quote and exclude taxes and duties unless noted. We accept payment by wire transfer and by credit and debit card. Unless agreed otherwise, orders require payment or an agreed deposit before production, with the balance due before dispatch.

Production tolerances

As is standard in custom packaging manufacturing, please note the following tolerances:

• Quantity: delivered quantities may vary by up to ±10% of the ordered amount; you are billed for the quantity actually produced.
• Colour: printed colours may vary slightly from screen proofs and between production runs; we match to agreed references as closely as the process allows.
• Dimensions: finished sizes are subject to standard manufacturing tolerances.

Turnaround and delivery

Stated lead times begin after final artwork approval and cleared payment where required. Delivery dates are estimates; we are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, force majeure or circumstances beyond our control. See our Shipping Policy for details.

Changes and cancellations

Change or cancellation requests must be made in writing. Once production has begun, orders generally cannot be cancelled, and you may be responsible for costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.

Returns and claims

Custom-manufactured products are made to order and are not returnable except where defective. If you believe a product is defective or does not match the approved proof, notify us within 10 days of delivery with photos and your order number. Our liability is limited to reprinting, repairing or refunding the affected goods at our discretion.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your brand assets and confirm you have the right to use all artwork you supply. Dielines, structural designs and templates created by Box Bettter remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Box Bettter's total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the contracting Box Bettter entity is established. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of that location's courts. (TODO: confirm governing jurisdiction with your legal counsel.)
